Why are liberals in sour mood at gas pumps?

Liberals as I recall rejoiced and held celebrations when President Obama imposed $20 billion fine on BP. Well, BP is not the government, they can neither print money nor extort from taxpayers, their only source of revenues is sales of gas to motorists. Somehow they (and other oil companies who face similar new risks) have to make up this new $20 billion cost of doing business in business unfriendly liberal environment.
