Police Officers only: Would u accept this excuse from a motorist who u caught driving 78 mph in a 65 mph zone?

Keeping up with traffic is not a valid excuse for speeding. That being said, if you were clocked by a cop running radar - how can he be certain you were the one he recoded. if there were other cars in the area at the time, a case could be made that the officer was mistaken.
